Perceptions of climate change measured in West and East Africa
Members of the MECCA team travelled to Nigeria and Kenya to prepare the data collection in both regions. The East Africa team consisting of staff members from NaFIRRI, KMFRI and TAFIRI met in Kisumu, Kenya, with Karlijn van den Broek to develop the study materials. After a pilot in Homabay, the team made some final changes before returning to their respective countries. The team completed the data collection, resulting in a sample size of 600 participants.
Usman Isyaku met with his team members in Lagos, where the materials were developed and piloted. The team successfully completed the data collection in Lagos, resulting in a sample of more than 500 participants.
