Gisela Böhm – principal investigator
Gisela Böhm is Professor in environmental psychology and psychometrics in the Department of Psychosocial Science at the University of Bergen. She publishes in leading journals on environmental risks and public preferences for climate change policies and has extensive experience with cross-national and interdisciplinary research on public engagement with climate change.

Usman Isyaku – researcher
Dr Usman Isyaku’s research is focused on environment and development geographies with specific interest in climate change mitigation policy process in Nigeria. His contribution to the project will be in the areas of qualitative and quantitative analysis, understanding the dynamics of motivation for action, emotions, and behavioural aspects of environmental issues.

Charles Ogunbode – external collaborator
Charles Ogunbode is a Lecturer in Psychology at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. He conducts research in environmental psychology with a specific focus on how informational campaigns, personal experience and social influence shape the way people respond to global environmental problems. He is an external collaborator on the MECCA project.

Stefan Liersch – Principal Investigator
Stefan Liersch is a researcher in Climate Impacts & Vulnerabilities at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. He is a distinguished expert in hydrological modelling, climate impact assessment, and co-developing scenarios. He has ample experience with interdisciplinary research in various African countries in collaboration local stakeholders.

Tobias Pilz – Researcher
Tobias Pilz is researcher at Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). He is an expert in the field of hydrological model development and application. Within the project his focus will be on flood hazard assessment for the Lagos metropolitan area and the projection of climate change impacts.
